Goodbye, Substack
We cared about you, even though you hung out with the wrong crowd.
So, finally, we’re leaving. We’ve made you sick of it, repeating it for a year: this platform does not represent how we believe a public and shared space should be managed, one that cannot be infiltrated by hate mongers just because they are very good at monetising.
Starting next month, our newsletter subscribers will receive our emails from Steady, which is essentially a cruder Substack, with zero networking tools, but European, which means zero tolerance for fascism apology (which is illegal in most of Europe, even though lately there are more dog whistles here than at an agility competition) and greater security for your personal data.

Apart from the new email address you will receive our communications from, nothing substantially changes: we will send you news, musings, maybe hefty discount codes, and various knick-knacks to play with for free. Clearly, you can unsubscribe whenever you want, even if we’d be sorry to see you go.
Substack will remain open to share, for a while, what we do on the other platform via Notes for those who might know us but are not subscribed, while not losing sight of the TTRPG community here, which is so vital and friendly.
Hell Freezes over: Goblindom is ready.
This summer, besides melting our internal organs, it is taking away the last proverbial Albatross from our necks. Goblindom is ready. Ready-ready. It has been fixed based on feedback from those who read and tried it, including some adorable members of this community. We would like to celebrate the newsletter migration with a substantial discount code (around 90%), and we’ll see if the Marketing Man can match the timing.
In any case, Oddplan’s last big product will see the light after years and years of revisions and rewrites. (You can find a bit of its tormented history right here on Substack if you’re into misery porn.)
